Our Story
Working together since 2014, originally in our respective finance and procurement roles (silos!) within a food manufacturing business, we were always aware of the interdependency of our two departments and how the actions of one significantly impacted the effectiveness of the other.
By breaking down the silos and including all relevant stakeholders, we used valuable financial information to make data driven procurement decisions, enabling the business to “buy better” across a wide range of indirect goods and services (areas which are often overlooked in business). This ultimately led to significant indirect cost reductions and measurable growth of the bottom line.
Realising that, so often, procurement leaders do not have the capacity to step away from the day to day and get into the detail required to deliver successful procurement projects and indirect cost savings, we left our respective jobs in 2018 to do just that, for businesses just like yours.

A qualified chartered accountant (yawn!) with 20 years experience of working across all sectors, specifically, food manufacturing, hospitality, retail and charities.
Laura lives in North Wales with her husband, son and daughter. An avid gym-goer, taxi driver and netball manager.
Helen McGowan
Managing Director
A procurement professional with 20 years experience within food service, retail and manufacturing.
Helen lives in North Wales with her husband and two daughters. Outside of work she ferries the girls to various sports, enjoys cooking, baking and paddleboarding.
